One of the best Monarch shots I've taken with my D60.
I'm hoping I can take something better THIS year...as I'm learning more about ISO and Aperture.
Last year was a bust year for butterflies. We didn't even have hummingbird moth ONE. None. I think the rainy spring killed them. We almost had no summer.
Here's a shot of the same butterfly, different flower (obviously) with a stained-glass effect:
